This document outlines the four steps one should take to best understand, analyze and use the CCAT results report. Frequently asked questions regarding interpretation are also covered.
TCC Group Director of Research Peter York discusses how to make best use of your CCAT results.
In our national study of nonprofit organizations that have taken the CCAT (documented in The Sustainability Formula), we identified five key measures of sustainability:
- Internal Leadership - Organizational leaders apply a mission-centered, focused, and inclusive approach to making decisions, as well as inspiring and motivating people to act on them
- Fundraising Skills – An organization’s ability to develop necessary resources for efficient operations, including management of donor relations
- Program Staffing – Making staffing changes as needed to increase and/or improve programs and service delivery
- Empowering Organizational Culture - Promoting pro-activity, learning, and a belief in the value and ability of staff and clients
- Leader Vision - Organization leaders formulate and motivate others to pursue a clear vision
If your organization has taken the CCAT, review your scores in the chart below to see where your organization succeeds and where you need to prioritize specific capacity building strategies. If you haven't taken the CCAT yet, you can save now during our fall promotion.
